PDPB PREW 2025
The Policy Development and Planning Bureau (PDPB) successfully conducted the Performance Review and Evaluation Workshop (PREW) on 18–21 November 2025 in Quezon City as part of its annual commitment to strengthening DSWD’s policy and planning performance. The PREW is a major learning, assessment, and planning exercise designed to evaluate the Bureau’s accomplishments, examine its contributions to the Department’s organizational outcomes, and ensure continuity and alignment with emerging priorities under the DSWD Strategic Plan 2024–2028. This year’s activity also provided an opportunity to consolidate performance data, revisit key performance indicators, and assess the overall effectiveness of PDPB’s policy development, planning, and results management initiatives.
The workshop convened the staff from all PDPB divisions to collectively refl ect on the Bureau’s operational achievements as well as the challenges faced in the delivery of mandates across policy development, planning, monitoring, evaluation, and technical coordination functions. The PREW also provided space to analyze gaps in existing systems, bottlenecks in workfl ow processes, and areas requiring enhanced collaboration both within PDPB and with other DSWD bureaus, services, and fi eld offi ces. Through structured assessments and open dialogues, participants examined lessons learned from the year’s implementation and identifi ed opportunities for organizational and process improvement.
