CY 2019-2023 Compendium of SWD Statistics

This “Compendium of DSWD and Selected SWD Statistics” outlines the Department’s major Programs and Projects, Physical and Financial Accomplishments Rate for every Organizational Outcome, and beneficiaries served by Region from CY 2019- 2023. It also describes clients served in DSWD Residential Facilities and Community Based Services within the period CY 2019-2023, and other Social Welfare and Development (SWD) data utilized by DSWD.

This Compendium serves as a reference material for individual researchers, statisticians, and planners including legislators, primarily intended to be used for communicative planning processes. The Compendium is divided into two 2) chapters:

Chapter 1 of the Compendium summarizes the figures on the accomplishments of the Department’s Organizational Outcomes (OOs) through its various Programs and Projects from CY 2019 to 2023. Aside from the accomplishments, it also compares the change in the percentage of accomplishments between the 2019 and 2023 implementation of DSWD’s programs and services.

Chapter 2 describes the statistical data of DSWD major programs and projects indicating the number of beneficiaries provided with programs and services by region.

The Compendium defines Organizational Outcome (OOs) as the intended changes in client’s lives or behaviour and capacity whether as beneficiaries or intermediaries. OOs is achieved through production of the DSWD’s Major Output. Output are public goods and services that DSWD is mandated to deliver to external clients through the implementation of its Influence activities which are its core operations and strategic initiatives. In Chapter I of the Compendium, five (5) Organizational Outcomes were described however it is important to note that these are outputs that are non-mutually exclusive to achieve the Organizational Outcomes.
