Major findings of this report are as follows:

  1. Approved research studies are constantly increasing from years 2008 to 2012. For year 2012, 96 researches were approved and 14 were completed. Among the 14 completed researches, seven (7) were under the sectors of Older Persons and Children and Youth Sector. Cross-sectoral, PWDs and Women Sectors attributed two (2) completed researches each, while in Community Sector, only one (1) was completed research. The research report of the 82 approved research proposals are still for finalization.
  2. Community Sector has the highest number of research topics approved. Among the community sector, the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program has the highest number of proposed researches. Generally, studies on Pantawid Pamilya deals with the Impact and Effect of the CCT to its beneficiaries and Assessment and Evaluation of the Program Implementation.
  3. On the Children and Youth Sector, most of the researches were focused on Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL). Researcher’s interest focused on the Impact/Challenges of Programs and Services for CICL, Rehabilitation Program for CICL, Perception of the CICL in relation to their Family, Peers and Community and Conformity and Social Support Groups of CICL.
  4. Thus, the lowest number of research topics was from Family and Persons with Disabilities Sectors.
