A Qualitative Follow Up to the Impact Evaluation of the Philippines Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program

Designed as a follow-up to the Quantitative Impact Evaluation of the Pantawid Pamilya Conditional Cash Transfer Program, the goals of this qualitative study are:

(1) to understand better the mechanisms behind the impact of the Pantawid Pamilya program,

(2) to investigate any regional heterogeneity in implementation, and

(3) to examine the community and implementer comprehension of the program and how this may be related to the effects of the program on the community.
